MK Diamond will change equipment prices 3%-5% January 1, 2012.

SawMaster SDT-1000XL Cutting Table Notes

There are three different versions of the cutting table for the SDT-1000XL tile saw.

S1000-23 is a hexagonal cutting table with tapered end oriented towards the blade.
S1000-23N Square table was used on a few old models. You can use the S1000-23 but you will have to flip the rail on the left side.
X1000-23 is a 19"x12" rectangular cutting table.

The scuttlebutt is that SawMaster is working on a new 14" powered masonry saw. I'm wondering if it is going to have a Honda or Subaru engine. More info when we have it.

New Price Point MK Tile Saw

MK Diamond introduces new price point tile saw capable of ripping 24" tiles and cutting 18" diagonally. MK has now rolled out the MK-101-24 Tile Saw replacing the MK-100-24 Tile Saw. This saw has a significant price reduction for several reasons: The new 1-1/2 hp motor is a Baldor stock motor and not the custom motor that MK uses on other MK-101 series saws. The frame has been re-engineered for cost savings without sacrificing precision or durability. The stand (168244) and cutting kit (155954) are now available separately.
Many of the components used on the MK-101 Pro 24 are used on this saw!

ZAC Tools updates the McLeod for 2012

ZAC Tools will be updating their popular McLeods for 2012. ZAC will be switching to a forged head from the stamped and welded head currently used on their tools. ToolLines ZAC Page The current Mcloead is pictured above. Hopefully the new heads will nest in the tines like the current tools do.

OK I was mistaken, the McLeods will remain the same. It's the bow rakes that are changing from welded tines to a forged tine.
